    Default HELP - Almost free!!

I am almost free of MSO!! only two things remain to be sorted out...

1- can someone point me in the right direction so i can sync my HTC with Zimbra and NOT with outlook?

2- I need to import all my meetings and appts from outlook but Zimbra only supports ICS and Outlook cannot export in ICS...

and, wow, im impressed with Zimbra!! one AMAZING product there folks!!

    Thanks
    Paul

Your HTC would require the NE edition of Zimbra (I assume you want calendar etc) or for Zimbra OSS you'll have to look at a Funambol server - have a search of the forums for 'funambol' there's a long thread about it.

There are several scripts around that will expert your calendar in iCal format, one (two actually) such script is here: Export Calendar to use with Vista Calendar

Thanks for your lead... I tried something different. Ill explain just in case it can serve someone else...

    Exporting Outlook 2007 Calendar:
    • Go to calendar
    • Click on file, Save As
    • Click on More Options
    • Select Specify dates
    • Select the date ranges you need/want. For some reason, you cannot export more than 10 years worth of appts.
    • Select the file name and save. It will be saved in ICS format
    • Done...

WRT syncing with my pocket PC, is ther no way i can directly sync via active sync? ie: sync my ZIMBRA directly through Active sync and my HTC touch? I still have a MSFT based phone...

    TIA

activesync requires zimbra mobile to be on the server, which is an add-on component of the network edition. it is not available for the oss edition.
