Default [SOLVED] Copy appointment to another calendar

Can you copy an appointment from one calendar to another calendar?

I want to copy from my google calendar to another calendar. I can see the google calendar in Zimbra and I can move an appointment from google calendar to another calendar. But I can see how to copy the appointment so it is on both calendars.

currently you have to export first and then import.

Could you expand on your instructions? I don't understand what you mean.

Go to Options -> Import/Export to export calendar events from the source mailbox. Then go to the destination mailbox and go to Options -> Import/Export to import the saved events.

One more thing. Currently you can only export events by folder using the UI. So if you only want to copy/move a single event, in your source account you will need to create a calendar folder, move that event into that folder, and export that folder.

Sounds like its not very practical. I was hoping to be able to right click and select copy instead of move to another calendar. Thanks for the help.

Yeah currently there's no UI designed for moving items across mailboxes. It's something we have to address at some point, but not in 1.0.

I'd like to see a copy/paste context-menu in the zwc too.
I often have to create same appointsments with only different dates or the same twice a day with nor regual intervall
    Code:

    Default Copy an Appointment

I would love--no, NEED--to be able to simply copy an existing appointment within the same calendar. Not just move it, but actually copy it--whether it be drag and drop or right click and copy.

Also, I would like to be able to simultaneously create a new appointment on more than one calendar. We have a departmental Vacation/Sick Time calendar and I would like to be able to create, say, a doctor's appointment on my personal calendar and the departmental Vacation/Sick Time calendar at the same time so that I don't need to keep reinventing the wheel.

I hope that the copy an appointment issue is addressed soon. It is a serious lack in the product and I find it frustrating.
