Default [SOLVED] How do I copy mail to a desktop folder

I want to copy mail from Zimbra folders to a folder on my desktop using Zimbra Desktop. We have a quota on our server and I want to off load some of my mail for easy access.

Not sure that you can just drag and drop. AFAIK, you have two options.

    1) Use the local-folders feature of ZDesktop to move messages to your local folders. That way, your searches still include these messages, but they are no longer in your live mailbox and do not count against your quota (I think - I actually just posted something similiar/related to this in the forums).

    2) use an AJAX REST URL to grab all emails from a specific folder and then delete it. So, for example, if I wanted to grab a copy of all messages in a folder called "ACME", and I wanted them zipped up, I would (in a browser) use the URL:
and I would get a zipfile of the contents of that folder - including individual messages, which you could put on your Desktop - and then I could delete from my live mailbox.
