    Unhappy [SOLVED] Zimbra Desktop setting up pop account problem

    I can't set a new pop account with zimbra desktop (Last Version Avaiable).
    After i put all the information required to create the account, i recive a message

    Cannot connect to "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:110". Please check host/port and network connectivity.

    The server is not zimbra.
    I want use zimbra desktop like pop client for all my pop account.
    It's the same if i try to use imap,change only the port but the message it's the same.

    PS: I don't have firewall and if i use outlook express to connect at the same account (pop) everythink works well.

    Have you found a solution? I am having the same problem.

    Default Solved the problem

    The problem was in the mail server.
    Zimbra desktop is starting the comunication in tls mode.
    My server was responding with yes to this request but after 1 sec it closed the comunication. The tls was not well configured in the mail server.
    I had resolved the problem disable the tls protocol in the server.

    use this to test tls

    telnet server 110
    stls

    after this command if the server tell you ok and not close the conn tls works well.
    If you disable tls zimbra desktop start to comunicate with the server in normal mode
