Question ZWC won't sync calendar with Zdesktop

My university just switched to ZWC. Works fine. However, I want to IMAP using Z Desktop. At the moment, my email syncs fine. However, my calendar items on the ZWC won't import (sync) with Z Desktop.

    Can it?

If so, how (what settings do I need to change)?

This is in the wrong forum, I'll move it to the Desktop forum.

You set-up an Account Type of 'Zimbra' when you create a new account in the ZD set-up page. using IMAP won't give you synchronisation of anything other than email.

    Default Not resolved

I thought following this advice would resolve the matter. I re-set up choosing the Zimbra account rather than IMAP, but it's still not syncing my calendar. Why not now?

How will anyone know without any information other than 'it doesn't work'?

Which version of the Zimbra server is installed? Do you see any errors and if so, what are they? Read the Troubleshooting FAQ on the wiki, see what errors are in the logs and post some details.

    Default More information

The Zimbra server version is the latest Collaboration Suite, and when I log in, I use the Ajax version. I'm using the latest Z Desktop version. I make sure the Calendar box is checked in both versions.

There are no error messages. The link provided for FAQs and the Wiki don't t contain an issue like this.

Thanks for your time and effort. :-)

From Zimbra Desktop, click on Setup in the upper right-hand corner. In the setup page, click on "Edit", then select "Debug Logging",make sure to select your Zimbra account.

Using ZWC, I would suggest creating a new event in your calendar, then enable debug logging as I indicated. After the new event, click on 'Send/Receive'. After which observe if the new calendar event is present in the Zimbra Desktop calendar. If the new event had not synced, send over the zdesktop.log file.

Did as instructed in last post (creating a new event in your calendar, then enable debug logging as I indicated. After the new event, click on 'Send/Receive'. After which observe if the new calendar event is present in the Zimbra Desktop calendar. If the new event had not synced, send over the zdesktop.log file.)

Now the sync doesn't work with the Web client.

I clicked on the red exclamation point and got the following information (I don't know if this is the zdesktop.log file or not).

    Default Bug 37137

I believe you are running into this bug report:
    Bug 37137 – RESOURCE_UNREACHABLE on server side NO_SUCH_BLOB

This should be fixed in the new build, which should be released fairly soon.
