Default How Can Send E-Mails Over 587 Port!

    Hi All,

I m fighting with my freak isp ttnet. they changed smtp 25 port. They r accepting just 587 port. I need to send e-mails over 587. how can i setup zimbra default sending port 587? thanks. (i don t have any problem accepting e-mails over 587.) (so i need (connect to alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.93.27]:25: No route to host) resolve this issue. if i change 25=>587 i ll resolve i thing)

You don't send email over port 587, that's an inbound Submission port. You need to relay your mail through your ISPs mail server and add the new port after their domain name i.e mail.ispdomain.com:587 - read the wiki article on authentication and search the forum for further details.

I've just told you that you don't change Zimbra to use port 587, you need to relay your mail through your ISPs mail server so follow the details in the wiki article.

thx for your trying to help me but we can t understand each other. i dont exchaning mail with isp s mail server. isp just blocking my port. i don t have any jop with isp s mail server. wiki document saying zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraMtaRelayHost smtp.att.yahoo.com:587 so if your mail blocking from yahoo u can resolve your problem like this but my problem not with gmail, yahoo, hotmail or xxx.com my internet server provider blocking my smtp port.
