    Default [SOLVED] Yahoo email not syncing

    Why did my yahoo email account stop syncing with Zimbra? It's been working just fine until 12/7/09 when it stopped. The answer I got from Yahoo is that I have to pay for premium service but the other y accounts I have are syncing just fine.

    How come just this one account stopped working and other than paying for a free email, how can I fix it?

    Recently the spam folders of my Yahoo accounts have not been syncing. Sometimes I get a few of the spams but not all of them. I get the annoying 'red !' and an error message. If I log in online from the browser and I empty the spam folder it goes away so it is just the spam folder. Maybe they are blocking it to save bandwidth.

    Thanks for the answer, but i usually keep my spam folder empty.

    Any other ideas?

    I'll try to empty my trash, too, and see if that helps.

    I don't empty the trash often but that doesn't seem to be a problem. That seems to be syncing properly. One thing I forgot to mention. I also reindexed my accounts that were having problems. You can do that from Setup in the upper right corner. Did you try that?

    Default y not syncing

    I tried that saturday without any success.

    Nothing is syncing on that email account, not the inbox, not the trash, not the sent file, nothing.

    The only thing that seems to work in Zimbra for that email account is that I can compose a new email and it sends successfully. It don't think it saves in the sent file, though, and it does not save in the regular on line email either.



    Today, Monday, I'm trying to clean out some of the folders of saved stuff.

    Default maybe syncing, now

    As I posted before, I was going to remove some of my saved folders, so now, when prompted, it says that the last sync was sometime today, when ever the other accounts are syncing, but nothing new shows up like with the other email accounts.

    I'll continue to get rid of some of the other saved files and see if that helps.

    At least there seems to be some progress. It wasn't showing that it had synced since December 7 and now it says it's syncing regularly with all the other accounts. Maybe with more saved info excreted from there I will be able to get it back up and running. IDK, but I'll see.

    Talking not syncing

    WHOO HOO! WHOO HOO! YEEE HAA! WHEEEEEEE HEEEEEEE!!!!!

    FOOBAZ I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Today is the first day that I got anything new on my email on Zimbra!

    I almost c------ in my pants!

    I have been deleting and deleting and deleting all this time and finally got a response. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT SOLUTION!
