existing email accounts
Sorry for the stupid question and i have tried to read about this but i cant seem to find an answer,
I currently have 3 pop email accounts are already setup with a hosting company, and at the office there are 4 other computers that monitor these 3 email accounts. Now I need a way to sync sent items and just have a way to see what other people have responded to so multiple emails don't get sent out to the same person.
If i setup a zimbra server on linux will it be able to take my 3 email accounts that already exist and allow me to better manage them on 4 other computers so i can see whats been read and responded to?
Sorry for the noob question, im just trying to figure out if zimbra will work for me :) thanks for the help!
POP is single direction, so there would not be a way to sync Sent messages.
If the hosting provider allows you to use IMAP to access the email accounts, you could then have the Inbox and Sent messages synced across all computers.
Thanks for the reply :) I have to double check and see if imap is provided by the email provider. If its not im gonna have to shoot him =\
imap can be a solution, but requires a large mailbox :)
