Thread: Nothing happens when clicking on "new mail", "reply" or "forward"...

    Same probleme as Klug with a ZD 2.0 (b10580)
    "New mail" button dont works and When using "Always compose in new window" a scrached one opens.

    I added and removed the &dev=1 on webapp.ini (always after stopping ZD) but nothing change. I'm not lucky as Klug !

    The PC is on a french Windows xp.

    But what is interesting is that I've got tree other PC with the same windows and no trouble with ZD 2.0 !!

    This might be related to Bug 52717.

    (At least it solved the problem for me.)

    It's true I had some accented chars in one of my sig...

    I removed the sig some weeks ago but I'm unable to remember exactly when 8-(

    Space always present in default signature name "Signature #1".
    I dont change it name so get this issue.
    I rename signature through web console (delete space), delete and create account in ZD 2.0.
    All works fine except signature: it dont synced with server one.

    Apparently having "special" characters in a signature's name corrupts the local database AFAICT.
    Purging and recreating your local application data (e.g. removing ~/zdesktop) after renaming them via the web interface may work as a dirty workaround.

    I was happy too early...
    New messages works until first ZD reboot...
    I solve issue: Signature name must not contain Russian letters!

    As stated above, I was having this issue on one of the system and renaming the Signature on the server fixed the issue.

    However, I needed to delete the local account completely and create it anew for it to work.

    Seems that having a signature with non-standard letters and numbers (0 to 9 and a to z) corrupts the local data somehow.

    Thanks to this thread, I was able to find the solution.

    I solved issue too but after I removed Signatures on server with ZimbraAdmin, deleted the local account and recreated it, nothing changed !
    After lot of loosing time an thanks to ChaSer I rename default signature "Signature #1" on ZimbraAdmin with no # and no space and recreated local account and... it works !!
