    Default No 'Run Filter' button

I'm test-driving Zimbra Desktop for our institution and on set-up today I started to create some filters. I wanted to run them on the mail already in my inbox, but couldn't see a way to do so.

Searching online told me that I should be able to go to the preferences tab, choose filters, and there should be four buttons across the top: New Filter, Edit Filter, Delete Filter, and Run Filter.

I'm missing the 'Run Filter' button. Is this something that's supposed to happen? Is there another way to run filters on mail that already exists in a folder? Has something moved?

I don't know about Zimbra Desktop, since I don't currently have it installed, but I do know that's the instructions for the Web interface. What version of ZD are you running?

I'm also guessing that you're using Zimbra as the mail server as well, correct?

Oops, I thought I included that in my message, but apparently not!

Yes, Zimbra is the mail server as well (and since you mentioned it I checked - there is a 'run filter' button on the web version! so I could probably fix the problem by running filters there, but I'd still like to know where my desktop version button went).

    I'm using Zimbra Desktop 7.0.1.

    I installed:

    zdesktop_7_0_1_b10791_linux_i686.tgz

And have confirmed that there is no Run option for the filter. I'd guess you'd need to check the bug tracker and see if someone has a ticket open on this, if not, then you should open one.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'll take a look in the bug tracker.

Default "Run Filter" missing in pref

I have just downloaded Zimbra desktop 7.0.1 for MAC OSX 10.6 and am going through an evaluation. I have tried to apply filters but also noticed there is no "Run Filter" in the pref page. How can this be turned on or is this a bug in the MAC desktop version?

We are not using Zimbra server but connecting to existing mail server

    Thanks

Has there been any more information on this? The help text indicates there should be a "Run Filter" option but none exists.
