    Default ZDesktop not syncing @ startup

    Hi,

    OS: Win7 Pro x64
    ZDesktop: 7.0.1

    When I start up zdesktop the account is in 'paused' mode and will not sync until i go to setup and re-validate/save the account and re-launch.

    Auto-sync usually works normally for the rest of the day until the next day it happens again.

    This probably happens 4 out of 5 days of any given work week.

    Any ideas?

    Have you attempted to copy all the account information and remove the current account and re-add it?

    I'm going to assume you mean remove the account on the client side. (If you meant server let me know).

    A bit more information that may be related:

    The inbox is so big that a script is taking too long error pops up and stops the zdesktop syncing. zdesktop may be launching without syncing after this error shows up.

    We will also try cleaning up the inbox a bit to see if this helps.

    Chrisb17,

    It was definitely client side. Removing the server side account results in total lose of data and we do not want that.

    Keep me posted on the mailbox clean up.

    We haven't tried re-adding the account yet as the sync would take a long time and disrupt the work day .

    After updating Zimbra Desktop to 7.1.1 I haven't noticed the problem.

    I'll keep an eye on this for a few more days.
