    Default Signature length

Hallo. I used old Zimbra desktop versions on my MAC, and I found the problem of signature length. Now I'm using the release - Zimbra Desktop 7.1.4 GA (creato 11299) - and the problem is still there. In the HTML signature it cannot be created a signature with more than 1024 characters (and the error messages flashes and stops you also using much less than 1024, probably for the use of images).

I cannot create any of my profiles signature !!!! How to proceed?

    Thanks Andrea

    That's 10240 characters, not 1024. You've got a signature this big?

This is the signature I tried to create ( I cannot copy the image in txt format). It is much less than 10240 but I get the error.

    Default signature length

    Hey

I believe this is the setting you are looking for:

    zimbraMailSignatureMaxLength

It should be in a zimbra-attrs.xml file somewhere on your computer.

No nothing to do: I gave a 500000 bytes in that parameters but I get always the same error. I tried to cut parts of the signature but I get ALWAYS that error: it is the JPG object probably...

Let me see, you're setting signature for some POP/IMAP account, not a Zimbra account?

I'm not sure you can even insert image in your sig then. As far as I can see, only an URL to image can be inserted in signature for non-Zimbra accounts.

Hi and thank you for the help: I manage threee different POP accounts, in fact.
I tried to create the signature with the LOGO connected by his URL and it works. But if I add even a single word I get again the error message (more than 1024 bytes).

has a link in it pointing to this post

NOt too sure if either of those solutions will help, but worth a try?
