    Default Restore never completes

I had to backup a bunch of accounts when I lost my ZCS mailstores. All but two have successfully restored. Those other two start the process, but never error and never complete. Any ideas?

Is this a Zimbra Desktop problem (which is where you've posted)?

Not really as you've not told us what backup/restore procedure you're using nor what errors there are in the log files.

I don't know the source of the problem, but I am doing the backup restore with Desktop's built-in functions.

I don't know of what log files are where to check for errors.

An error never comes up on the screen (at least not within a day or two), it just never finishes. It never presents the notification that it finished and not all of my information was restored.

I tried to restore today via Zimbra Desktop in a web browser session instead of within the application. I did get an error this time.

I am actually seeing the missing messages in there now. Well, for that account. I'll let some time go by to see if all messages populate. There was about 580 megs in that backup file. The big account has a backup file of about 5.3 gigs.

If I'm just missing one message here and there... oh well.

On the big file, I got the error

    "Critical
Unknown error for item "(Unknown)": upload too large: file 'MHammett All-2013-03-19-154050.tgz': upload too large

So how to I break this out into smaller files? BTW: I tried to import everything but mail.

I tried to import it a different way, but got a different error.

    Code:
    [zimbra@mailbox1 root]$ zmmailbox -z -m mhammett@ics-il.net pru "//?fmt=tgz&resolve=replace" /tmp/MHammett\ All-2013-03-19-154050.tgz
ERROR: zclient.IO_ERROR (Broken pipe) (cause: java.net.SocketException Broken pipe)
    What does this mean?
