Question [SOLVED] how to uninstall zimbra desktop on linux ?

    hi !

my question is very simple, but i did not manage to find the topic here, neither in the wiki.
I need to uninstall it cleanly to install after the zd2 release.

so how can we do ?

my zimbra desktop is an old release 1.0.x but not hte last one.
i use a debian etch system, on kde3 environnement.

thanks for help and clean information

    Default ok

    thank you !

    On Linux

    (1) Close the GUI client window.

    (2) Make sure that the Zimbra Desktop service process is not running. It is a java process. If the service process is running, open a terminal window and cd into the install directory. Then run the following at the command line:

    ./zdesktop stop

    (3) Delete the install directory. Note that if you want to preserve mailbox data, don't delete these 3 folders: derby, store, index.
