    Hi,

When installing the version 4.6 GA build 1044 on a virtual machine with

    Installing:
    zimbra-core
    zimbra-ldap
    zimbra-logger
    zimbra-mta
    zimbra-snmp
    zimbra-store
    zimbra-apache
    zimbra-spell

The system will be modified. Continue? [N] y

    Removing /opt/zimbra
    Installing packages

    zimbra-core...basename: too few arguments
Try `basename --help' for more information.

Too low, you should have at least 1GB. Try changing that and try the install again.

For your information, the vm image provided by zimbra works with 512MB.

Anyway, I have re-installed Redhat ES 4 Update 4 in a new machine
based as natif linux (to avoid vm problems) with 1GB RAM.
    But same error mesage.

    Regards

Before the installer runs, can you run a:
    free -m

    And post the results.

    Cheers,

What was the point of telling me that? That has nothing to do with your install of RHEL under VMware.

Do you actually have all the prerequisites set-up i.e. correct /etc/hosts file, corect DNS A & MX records pointing to your server. Is this a 32bit or 64bit install? Is it NE or OSS version? Do any of your directory names have accented characters in them or is it on an 'English' install?

I've installed many copies of ZImbra on VMware and under CentOS and never seen this problem before.
