Default msg - system failure: missing blob for id:

We are running Zimbra 3.1.1 an a FC5 X64 server. Upgrades have not worked in this environment so we setup a FC4 32bit server installed Z3.1.1 on it. Rsynced live server to it. Re-ran the 3.1.1 install. Checked and everything looks fine. We tried to go from 3.1.1 to 4.5.6 and got the error listed below while viewing email. Thinking we made to much of a jump on the upgrade we went from 3.1.1 to 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 to 3.1.4. Checked again and still this error. Any suggestions??
    Thanks,
    Russ

    Hi Knowledgeblue-
We're so glad that Zimbra 3.1.4 has worked well for you, but you should upgrade as soon as possible. There are over 1,000 bugs that we have fixed, and tons of new features.

In the mean time, this can be caused by a permissions issue. Try stopping Zimbra, and running the zmfixperms script located in the /opt/zimbra/libexec dir. You'll need to run it as root.

    Best wishes,
    john

    Thanks.
We thought that may have been an issue so we did run zmfixperms.
Zimbra has worked very well for us. We are actually on Ver. 3.1.1.

Here are the bugs in your edition:

Also, have you had any power outages, or system issues?

We have been having the java out of memory heap dump error lately. I increased the memory which has seemed to help.
No power problems. It runs as a Xen guest on a blade server in a data center.
Other than the Java error it runs stable.
