    Default Admin Console Access?

I can only access the Zimbra Admin Console directly on the host the server is installed on.

If I try to access the admin console from any other computer the connection fails.

This is running on Mac OS 10.4.10.

lsof shows zimbra listening on port 7071. Connecting to zimbra on https and http is fine otherwise.

    Am I missing something?

Can you telnet to 7071 to the ip/hostname form a different machine?

    Is iptables/ipcop running?

Default Have you checked firewall settings?

You might see whether any firewall program you have running on your other client computers is blocking port 7071. Also, what is your network topology? Are these other computers on the same subnet as the Zimbra box? If they aren't, does whatever box does the routing also have a packet filter? HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443) are open by default in a lot of routers and firewall programs; 7071 probably isn't and would need to be explicitly enabled.
