Default Problem with settings not transferred when upgrading

    Hi

Running Network Pro Edition on RHEL 4.

Last night i did a upgrade from 4.5.6 to 4.5.9 and it worked ok. The thing about beeing promtd with the backup not been done last 24 hours is still there...

The thing is, when i did the upgrade, some zimlets did not seem to work. I had to redploy the collector from cli, from admin interface did work, but had no effect. (Yes i restart tomcat each time).

Also i see now, the url zimlet is not activeded either. Is this a common thing? Another thing, my language files disapears, this i can understand. Does anybody know of a tool that can match lang files? We use norwegian which we had to translate our self since Zimbra does not support it.

we use the following during our kickstarted install (need to reapply after an upgrade):

    Code:
        #######################################################################
        # update the spell checker (aspell) to UK
        #######################################################################
        /bin/cp -f /opt/zimbra/httpd/htdocs/aspell.php /opt/zimbra/httpd/htdocs/aspell.php.old
        /bin/cat /opt/zimbra/httpd/htdocs/aspell.php | /bin/sed -e 's/en_US/en_GB/g' > /tmp/aspell.php
        /bin/cp -f /tmp/aspell.php /opt/zimbra/httpd/htdocs/aspell.php

Hi, and thx for good reply.

I was more thinking of a software/script that can check my language files againt the new ones. We have completly translated to norwegian, but i guess there is new lines when we upgrade.....

Another thing is that Zimbra is missing a file in /opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/msgs that should be I18nMsg_no_NO_NB as it is the most used in Norway.

Did you check the Translations forum README? There's a link in there to this tool that can migrate your file to a new version of Zimbra. Is that what you were looking for? Any questions on Languages/Translations should go in the Translations forum.

Could you check in bugzilla and see if there's an entry for it, if there isn't could you file a bug report?
    Regards
