    Default Installation on existing server

Hi, in my enterprise we have a Fedora Core 3 server running with the following services:
-Postfix (with clamav and spamassassin through amavis)
    -Mysql
    -Tomcat
    -egroupware

I want to install zimbra in this server, my question is if this is possible and some tips with migrating the existing configuration to Zimbra. Some important points are egroupware contacts, mailboxes (unix account's mailboxes) and egroupware calendar.

Thx and my apologies for my english.
    Andres

Yes it's possible. For best results you should shutdown your current services first so that the install of Zimbra doesn't conflict with MySQL, tomcat, postfix, etc.

You should be able to export your contacts to a cvs file and then import them into Zimbra.

As for moving mail I think a program like mailutil from UW can copy from Unix format to IMAP. So you could import mail with that tool.

Not had a chance to try this yet but conceptually it should work. If you already have IMAP access then check out the imap-sync thread which explains how to do a simple IMAP copy of your mail into the Zimbra system.

Another question, after installing zimbra what happend with my existing installation (postfix , mysql)? Zimbra won't conflict with the existing installations? I'll be able to use the installed server without problem?

    Thx

If you use the default port 3307 and 25 you'll have port conflict. Best bet is to shut them down prior to running Zimbra. We are moving our ports for the next build so this will help.
