I have an old FC4 box that I am planning on moving the Zimbra install to new hardware.
I am trying to install FC4 on the new box, but of course it is so old that there are no updates for it etc. Looking at the list of possible OSes for the Free edition:
- I don't own RHEL 4 or 5 - that's out
- FC4 & FC5 are no longer supported (just found that out on the fedora forum)
- possibly use Ubuntu 6 (LTS) - but I've never used Ubuntu as a server, only Fedora.
- No experience with the other OSes...
So - Should I stay with an non-update FC4 or FC5? Or can I use a newer version of Fedora? I have F8 on another server and it works great. Or I can try Ubuntu...
All things being equal, I would prefer to use Fedora 8.
Thanks for any help with this,
