I don't know much (i.e. nothing) about the service that your ISP is using with google but I'd imagine that it's probably a fixed 'from' field. Is there any particular reason you aren't delivering mail directly? I assume it's because you're on a dynamic IP? You could always use a mail relaying facility from someone like dyndns.org but it is fee based, I believe.

Why do you have to use your ISP for sending mail. Are they blocking outbound port 25?

The quickest way to test it via a telnet to a server, try this:

    Code:
    telnet mail.easydns.com 25
and see what response you get.

Yes, it would appear it's not blocked. Remove the modifications you've made for setting the relay through your ISP and make sure the 'Use DNS...' setting is checked in the Admin UI and you should be good to send mail directly.

Glad you've fixed it. That will be much more reliable than using your ISPs mail servers and it usually results in quicker deliveries. Enjoy.

Another little trick you might find useful depending on which DNS servers you are using. If you also use your ISPs DNS servers for any resolution then you might see an improvement if you use these servers. Those instructions are for setting the server addresses in a router so it's only the IP addresses in Step 3 you'd need. If you are using a local DNS server then I suggest you don't make any changes unless you are forwarding DNS requests out to your ISP, if you do forward them then you should use the servers I've given you.
    Regards
