    Default Storage Path

Where does Zimbra store the mail files? I want the OS to reside on the 15k drives, but the mail files to reside on the larger 10k drives.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
    /opt/zimbra/store.

Database files will also grow, and are located elsewhere...

They'll live under the Zimbra heirarchy.

Backup, db, log, potentially wiki, and others may continue to grow.

As far as how much, I don't have enough data about your environment to answer that effectively.

BTW the Network Edition has HSM (Hierarchical Storage Management) which involves moving data to other storage locations after x amount of time. Messages and attachments are moved from a primary volume to the current secondary volume based on the age of the message; completely transparent to the user.

For instance: After 30 days messages move from your fast (and usually more expensive) SCSI disks, to a SATA array so that you can keep storage costs down.

    Compare ZCS Editions

We have the network edition running on a virtual server... We have two RAIDS... One is a RAID 1 (30 GB allocated at 15K RPM), the other is a RAID 5 (200 GB allocated at 10K RPM)

Is it worth the hassle to store the executibles on the 15K drive and the mail files on the 10k drive... or should I save myself the hassle and just mount /opt/zimbra to the 200gb drive?
