    Yes,

I can confirm that the port was left open on the server. However i could not see which process was the owner. I have tried to reproduce the error, however w/o success.

thank you for your help resolving this issue.

    Default Open Ports

    Hallo SamTzu,

As you can see the following ports remain open:

    tcp 0 0 79.134.108.180:389 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:465 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

Try to kill the processes accessing the ports manually an try to restart zimbra.

You can fin out which process is accessing the port with the following command:

    fuser -n tcp $PORT

    kill -9 $PID

Default Required key is not defined zimbraMtaMyHostname=''

I enabled debuggin to get more out of the /opt/zimbra/log/zmmtaconfig.log file.

    It says...
Required key is not defined zimbraMtaMyHostname=''

    Is this normal?
Could the reboot somehow "lost" these zimbraMta* settings?
