Default user login defaulting to admin console login

I'm using firefox, when i type in http://192.x.x.x/zimbra to access a user account, i get a warning about certificate ownership (I have a dydndns.org domain for remote access). Clicking ok to accept the certificate causes the login to default to https://192.168.x.x.x:7071/zimbraadmin.
If I try logging in using Internet Explorer it works fine.

Standard install, or did you change anything?

What happens if you set the tls mode to http (or https) instead of mixed?

It's a standard Open Source install, I upgraded to version 3 yesterday without any probIems. A http login defaults to https admin login (https://192.x.x.x:7071/zimbraAdmin/?initMode=http), except in internet explorer where it will login to user.
How do I set the tls mode? Okay this is done in browser settings and it makes no difference. I don't understand how it can work perfectly in one browser but not in another

Might not be in the path. You can find it at /opt/zimbra/bin/tomcat

Kevin, what I really needed to know was su - zimbra, but if I had taken the trouble to search though the admin guide I would have found it.
    Thank you anyway :-)

just for the record, i ended up doing a clean install. This took considerably less time than trying to fix the problem which was too weird for words.
