Default process for custom setup of posfix

Does anyone know of a good guide for customizing the postfix configuration of a zimbra install?

Specifically, we're trying to limit the outgoing attachment ability for certain users. Postfix allows a configuration like this:

    check_sender_access hash:/etc/no_attachment_users, body_checks_size_limit = 0

But I'm having difficulty installing it within Zimbra. Zimbra seems to overwrite the postfix conf file if I just try to insert this line into the postfix main.cf.

    Thanks for your help...

you need to use the postconf utility as the user zimbra. It allows you to commit changes to postfix

    thanks bdial.

    I've also found:

newer versions of Zimbra edit main.cf every restart, so its better to modify zmmta.cf.

But I haven't found a way to stop down the outgoing attachments for specific users...

    any ideas?

    Default postfix settings

I'm having a hard time determining if this body size setting can be used for outgoing restrictions. All the instances of using it that I've seen in the past are for scanning incoming.

we're looking for a smtpd limit. on a per user basis.

Thanks to anyone who might know of a way to pull this off.
