I'm trying to test out Zimbra on my Mac OS X server. I don't want to use the ldap server that comes with OS X ("Open Directory") which is running on port 389.
The ldap port I specified in zmsetup.pl apparently is ignored by the time the /opt/zimbra/bin/ldap start script is called. In my system.log I see:
COMMAND=/opt/zimbra/openldap/libexec/slapd -l LOCAL0 -4 -u zimbra -h
ldaps:// ldap://:389/ -f /opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf
The :389 seems to be hardcoded in the script.
Also a call to zmlocalconfig shows that ldap_port, ldap_url and ldap_master_url still point to port 389.
Anyone successfully create a zimbra ldap server running on a port other than 389?
