Default Setup Proxy/Forwarder for Admin Interface

    Hello,

when I am in the office, pretty much all ports are blocked and I cannot access my Zimbra Admin Interface at port 7071. So I thought I could setup apache to handle all requests on port 8080 and forward them to the admin interface. Unfortunately I have not the slightest clue how to do that.
    I have 2 VPS, VPS1 (Debian 4, Apache 2) has IP 192.168.1.1, VPS 2 (Debian 4, Zimbra) has 192.168.1.2.
The preferred setup would be that all requests to http://192.168.1.1:8080 get proxied/forwarded to 192.168.1.2:7071, but I would also be happy with requests to 192.168.1.2:8080 being proxied/forwarded to 192.168.1.2:7071.

Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance :-)

    Mike

You could use iptables to redirect the port. Probably be easier than trying to do it with Apache.

    And welcome to the forums.

    I'll give it a try.
