    Default installing in chroot jail

    Hi,

I want to install onto an existing Mandrake server, which doesn't seem to be possible.

Can I get round this by installing Fedora Core and Zimbra in a chroot jail on my server?

Never been tried, afaik. Not sure how you'd BOOT the fc4 instance. chroot is not a virtual machine, you know.

My reasoning was that zimbra just needs to have the right Fedora-specific libraries and basic directory structure, without necessarily having to boot a fedora version of the kernel. Would that reasoning make sense?

Maybe... honestly I think the *right* fix is on the Fedora 4 install CD. Other paths will just cause you pain.
