Default Batch adding users via zmprov

I have figured out how to add users with zmprov and a text file as instructed in the documentation.
I have not found out if it possible to populate more of the user account, for example phone number, addresses, cell number, sig line(company disclaimer), etc. If somebody knows if this is possible and what format the text file zmprov would like to have for this extended import of user accounts it would be greatly appreciated. I have about 200 users to add.

Yes you can set some in the create user command, other changes can be made in a 2nd command to modify any attribute you`d like. This can all be in the same batch file for import.

You mention changing the signature line, if you want all your users to have the same signature you might what to set this as the default in COS instead of changing it for every single user.

I thought of that at first but I did not find the option to enter a sig line in the COS page via the admin web page, I have not had the time yet to figure out where to put the sig line in the different COS configs.

A test text file to add users and some user info with zmprov < testuser.txt

    ca nam1@company.com password1
    ma nam1@company.com
    co USA
    company XYZ Company
    displayName Name One
    givenName Nam1
    ou Test Division
    st State
    telephoneNumber 555-555-5551
    zimbraPrefMailSignature: Sig line Company Disclaimer
    ca nam2@company.com password2
    ma nam2@company.com
    co USA
    company XYZ Company
    displayName Name Two
    givenName Nam2
    ou Second Test Division
    st State
    telephoneNumber 555-555-5552

You need one command per line. Instead of
    ma account
    attr val
    attr val
    attr val

    you should have
ma account attr val attr val attr val

you need self contained entries all on a line like this:

ma name@company.com displayName "First Last" company "XYZ Company"

Default Thanks the last two explained it

Thanks for the detailed syntax examples, shoulda gotten that one myself, just rushing things too much I guess. My plan it to plug all the things I need(phones, offices, addresses, etc) into a spread sheet for all my users and let Zimbra do the work. I will post an example here for the nubies that will follow me. If I forget and somebody is looking for such an animal feel free to email dougisatgmail.com.
