    Default Zimbra on V-Root-Server?

    Hi again,

My first try with zimbra is done and now i'm thinking about to switch to it as my little private mail-server (not anything big, just a couple of accounts - family etc).
There are quite nice offers vor Virtual-Root-Servers now, and since i anyway paid for my old mail provider it would not even be much more expensive.

I already ware testing on one off the trial-offers to install Zimbra but failed, which seems to be the fould of the way to few system ressources on this account (25MB ob ram) and the impossible javaVM installation with this.

There are quite nice offers with "1000Mhz" and "256MB-Ram" guaranteed. Would it make sense to Install Zimbra on such a server if its just for a small number of accounts?

we would like to ... one day, and hopefully soon. Send us the patches if you tweak the install/startup config to get it work in that little of RAM. Right now we read messages into memory, and message_size_limit is 10MB so that is something to consider (to be fixed soon).
