Is your firewal disabled? Hosts file set-up correctly? DNS set-up correctly? This is one of the most common problems on the forum, have you done a search or looked at the wiki?

    I'll check.

but isn't it possible that ldap runs in localhost - isn't it unsecure if it runs in external ip and all who wants could hack it?

I had that exact problem one time with a yum update.

Were you doing anything? How did you notice that LDAP wasy stopped?

    New installation? Repair Installation?

If this is a new install or repair, I'd be interested in seeing the install log.

    Default

    It was new installation.

another error too: I get it during install

    COMMAND: zmlocalconfig -f -e zimbra_user='zimbra'
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location - find_vma failed
    COMMAND: zmlocalconfig -f -e zimlet_directory='${tomcat_directory}/webapps/service/zimlet'
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location - find_vma failed

and install log ends with these lines.

    and zmsetup.log

    ; export zimbra_spam_report_queue_size='100'; export zimbra_store_directory='
    /opt/zimbra/store'; export zimbra_store_sweeper_max_age='480'; export zimbra_tmp_directory='/tmp/zimbra'; export zimbra_uid='1000'; export zi
    mbra_user='zimbra'; export zimlet_directory='/opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/service/zimlet';'
    Error: executing: /opt/zimbra/bin/zmlocalconfig -q -m export
-su: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `('
-su: -c: line 1: `/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmldapinit Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location - find_vma fa

    end too like this.

Nothing will work until LDAP is fixed during the install.
