    Default Smart Hosting

    Hello all,

I am in the process of installing Zimbra on a Ubuntu 8.04 LTS server, I have never used Zimbra before and thought I would give it a shot.

The process seems fairly straight forward but I am unable to find information on setting a smart host. The ISP here in Australia blocks port 25 outbound so I need to know how to do smart host/mail relaying. I know under sendmail all I needed to do was edit the sendmail.cf file and add the host name after the DS statement and all was good. But Zimbra doesnt use sendmail and I cant seem to figure out how to do this in postfix/Zimbra.

Is there any information that any one can give me to resolve this issue.

    Thanks
    ikhan42

    Default

if you go to the admin web interface under servers, click on your server and then the mta tab. there should be an option for "Relay MTA for external delivery"
