    Default [SOLVED] zimbra smtp authentication on comcast

    we recently changed our internet to comcast and would like to authenticate to their smtp server, I tried this Outgoing SMTP Authentication - Zimbra :: Wiki but I am getting back host smtp.hmc1.comcast.net[76.96.53.14] said: 530
    5.7.0 authentication required (in reply to MAIL FROM command) is there a setting I am missing? the settings I am using work in outlook

    outgoing smtp smtp.hmc1.comcast.net
    username - comcast email address
    pw - password

    this is added in my main.cf
    smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
    smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/opt/zimbra/conf/relay_password
    smtp_cname_overrides_servername = no

    and this returns my username and password from relay_password postmap -q mailrelay.example.com /opt/zimbra/conf/relay_password
