    Default Can't Receive Email

I just setup a new Zimbra server to replace my old Citadel/UX server, and I can't receive emails...

    DNS is fine:

    Code:
    ; <<>> DiG 9.7.1-P2 <<>> any kviero.com
    ;; global options: +cmd
    ;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 16581
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 6, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0

    ;; QUESTION SECTION:

    ;; WHEN: Wed Dec 1 09:47:52 2010
    ;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 182
But I still get this error:

    Code:
    Trying 99.114.204.66...
    Connected to mail.kviero.com.
    Escape character is '^]'.

Are you behind a NAT router or firewall? If you are you need a Split DNS set-up and therefore the DNS information you've posted is incorrect. Go to that article and run the commands in the 'Vefiry...' section to check your configuration. Whatever the problem, your server is not unreachable from the internet, the connection times out.

It is technically behind a router, however it is a DMZ... I have a block of 5 static IP address that I can allot to different servers, and Zimbra has its own: 99.114.204.66

The run the commands form the 'Verify..' section on the Zimbra server and check the results. As I said, your server is not reachable from here (assuming you've posted the correct IP address). Go to an internet port check site and point it at your server/port you'll see what I mean.

BTW, the IP address you've posted in your last post is different than the one returned by the dig command you posted earlier. In any case this seems like it is a configuration problem on your firewall/router and not Zimbra.
    Regards

    Guess what...

I had the router set to hide it, by accident... As soon as I disabled that, everything works now...

Why is it always the simple crap!!!???
