So I managed to convince my Boss to consider a heterogeneous server backbone for our next infrastructure upgrade but I have one little problem. Im not allowed to touch he main network for testing so Im virtualizing everything on a lone server at home.
How could I satisfy this requirement:
In order to send and receive email, the Zimbra MTA must be configured in DNS with both A and MX records. For sending mail, the MTA uses DNS to resolve hostnames and email-routing information. To receive mail, the MX record must be configured correctly to route the message to the mail server.
In an isolated and virtualized cluster (Just for testing)?
