    Default External LDAP on dev-install

    Hi there.

I'm trying to use an external LDAP on a dev-installation. In admin I created a domain using the external LDAP, tested it (works ok in the test, I just think you should leave the template as Zimbra uses it), but when I try to create accounts and to login on the new domain, everything goes thought local LDAP. I foud out in LC.java the hardcoded default configuration, and when I changed there (and made some tweaks) works fine, using the external LDAP.

I couldn't find where the dev-install gets the config, so my question is: as for passwords, does the dev-install use static LDAP host? Or is this a credentials problem?

    Regards,

    Rodrigo

    Default

Try /opt/zimbra/conf/localconfig.xml In general though all the dev installs use localhost since most of us develop on our desktop or laptop. So there may be hardcoded items in build.xml
