Are you connecting to the zimbra server from the same subnet on the LAN?
When the SMTP telnet was successful, it was from a different subnet. When it was unsuccessful, it was on the same subnet.
And when I try to send an email through telnet from a remote pc, I am getting the same error in the logs.
Im going to check the DNS files as well.Code:Oct 30 16:00:18 zimbramail postfix/smtp: F09F1F54896: to=
, relay=none, delay=19, status=deferred (connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused)
Also, I found this in the log files.
Don't know why though, I can't find anywhere in the conf files where this port is defined, and when doing a netstat it doesn't appear in the list.Code:Oct 30 16:07:58 zimbramail postfix/smtp: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused (port 10024)
I added the service with the port in /etc/services, reboot, still no go.
