Default Missing Stats Message Count / Message Volume

I have had this problem from the start. This server is running on Fedora Core 4 and running Zimbra OS 4.0.3. This server has followed the upgrade path for quite some time. I feel that there is some configuration issue that has carried through all the upgrades.

All statistics(spam/virus, disk, quota) show except Message Count and Message Volume both system-wide and for the individual server. The logmysql db has data in everything except mta and mta_aggregate, which are both empty.

    logprocess.out has no errors.

    swatch.out shows:
    *** swatch version 3.1.1 (pid:6052) started at Thu Nov 2 08:04:56 PST 2006

    logswatch.out shows:
    *** logswatch version 3.1.1 (pid:5299) started at Thu Nov 2 08:04:47 PST 2006

swatch and logswatch are both running.

I hate to do a clean install to fix this as it would be a nightmare to add all the users back in and not loose mail.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Default Similar problem - data not yet available

I've had a similar problem since the beginning, now updated to 4.0.3 (OSS) on SuSe 10. I get a whole set of .csv files with lots of stats in /opt/zimbra/log, there are no logprocess errors, but I get "data not yet available" under all of the server stats on the web GUI and no graphs.

Originally I didn't have the logger running, then started it, now I get ticks against all the status, but still no stats though I feel sure they are being generated. I've also checked the database, (following thread "no data in server statistics") and see all the stats actually in the db. But no GUI stats or graphs :-( Any ideas?

Did you search the forums, this has been covered many times and one of the 'fixes' may apply. How about this one for instance, any use?

I have read through the forums and followed every thread on this subject. I have done the corrections suggested but to no avail.

I initially thought that the problem was in the zmlogprocess script. After taking a look at the script I now suspect that the problem is in swatch or logswatch.

When I send some messages through the sever, they do not seem to show up in the raw_logs. That would explain why mta and mta_aggregate are empty.

The amavis and disk info seem to process just fine.

.Did you try the answer in the post immediately above yours? If not then what, exactly, have you tried to fix it?
    Regards
