    Default can't send the mail from outlook.

    when i use smtp in outlook express...

    the maillog in server..following 210.XXX.XX.XX is the sender ip

    Have you got it set-up to authenticate against the zimbra server? You'll need that for users that aren't on your lan.

    yes...not in the same lan...
    then how can i do set-up to authenticate against?

    Have a look at this page - item 10 "My server requires authentication." should be what you need.

    thank you.

    I already checked incoming and outgoing as my server requires authentication.
    Using Pop3 receive is works.
    but still can't using smtp to send out.

    i using outlook express as smtp at my office (210.xxx.xxx.xxx)
    i works, but after some hours, the maillog show me that above message...

    And i have a Cisco firewall PIX-506E front of the zimbra server.

    Because i read a post http://www.zimbra.com/forums/showthr...light=postconf

    One thing that might or might not be related, is if your Zimbra server sits behind a Cisco PIX Firewall or ASA appliance,
    having ip inspect smtp WILL break your authenticated SMTP traffic.
    You need to NOT inspect smtp traffic for any zimbra servers on your network through the PIX.

    i fixed it...
    the problem is the PIX firewall
    set to not inspect smtp traffic ..then works...
