I'm working on a proposal to set up a new Zimbra server. The organization owns the domain already and has a website hosted elsewhere. I have a basic working knowledge about DNS, domain registration, hosting and so on, but here is my question.
What all do I need to do to keep the external web host working but have emails go to the facility's email server?
As a background we have static external IPs, a cyberoam firewall appliance that can do DMZ, internally there is an AD server which does DNS and DHCP.
I will have more questions later, I'm sure, but I didn't see this particular scenario discussed before. I want to make sure I don't have to take in the website as well!
Feel free to simply point me to whatever documentation will walk me through this, any help is appreciated.
