I'm messing around with a Zimbra Installation and I'm always running into an issue where the initial configuration and setup process during installation (after you've setup the admin-pwd)
prints out tons of error messages. I'm pretty sure it is all related to a JRE-VM memory issue. The installation log reports "insufficient memory" as soon as the process tries to setup the basic
Zimlets. After that almost all of the steps fail because of the leg of memory within the JRE-VM.
I'v read a couple of threads in the Forum related to this but they all point to Zimbra settings which you should change after installation.
Has anybody an idea what to do so that the installation+initial_setup can finish without any JRE-VM memory issue?
Thanks a lot for any hints,
P.S.: Some facts about the machine:
- vServer on the INet,
- CentOS 6.3 x64,
- Zimbra community release 7.2.0_GA_2669.RHEL6_64
- 2GB RAM
- A VirtualBox with the exact setup runs without any issues.
- Yepp I made sure that my machine fulfills all the prerequisites.
