I've installed fresh zca-8 Virtual Appliance on ESXi 5.0.
Everything runs fine but we have trouble with the OVM environment and we get erorros on boot and ssh login also throws errors or takes very long time. OVM is new stuff for us, but what I found out:

Login executes /opt/vmware/bin/ovfenv which returns: Unable to find the ovf environment.

On boot /etc/init.d/vaos returns: Waiting for network to come up (attempt 1 of 10)...

Network config ist setup correctly:

config_present: true
config_flags: STATICV4
config_ipv4addr: 192.168.110.14
config_netmask: 255.255.255.0

/opt/vmware/etc/vami/ovfEnv.xml is an empty file

using vSphere Client 5.0 I can't find a vApp section in the VM-Properties/Options Tab which is mentioned in some posts

Any hints?

Thanks
Heiko
