    Default uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra -- HUH?

I am trying to install zimbra proxy, and it will not stop looking to bind with this user. Where does this user come from? I am simply trying to install Zimbra Proxy and can't because it cannot connect to our LDAP with " uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra "

Could someone explain this? I thought a proxy would just be a frontend for the Webmail interface..Why does it need any LDAP information?

And where would I find documentation on provisioning uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra in my LDAP? Because I highly doubt uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra comes as a standard part of my LDAP install..

I might be just not understanding this, but really, where does uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra come from? and how do I create that in my ldap? Thanks..

It is not supported to use an external LDAP server rather than the LDAP server shipped with Zimbra. You will end up in a world of hurt if you do that.
