Default Basic Installation - No Internet Access

If I'm testing out Zimbra and I don't want to install it anywhere that has internet access, what settings do I put into the configuration or on Linux to have it resolve and work on localhost only?

I've tried just putting in localhost and the MTA/Tomcat fail to start.

I did a basic installation on Debian using ZCS 4.5 open-source edition.

    Any thoughts?

Add some entries into your hosts file.

    192.168.0.1 server.host.com server

then add those values into your zcs installation

    Default Made it through

Ok, for some reason my eth0 was down, so brought it back up and I made it through config. Thanks for the help.

Now immediately following installation and config I did zmcontrol status and everything is running except mailbox (tomcat is not running) and mta (postfix is not running).

I did zmcontrol start and logger/snmp failed to start, the rest said done.

I followed with zmcontrol status and I got the same issues with everything running except mailbox and mta.

    Thoughts?

It seems like you already have another process running on port 25 from what you said here:

This could be caused by another version of sendmail or postfix running already on your system.
If you connect to port 25, what does it say?
    Code:
    telnet localhost 25

My only thoughts currently are still written in the post above. I still wonder if you have another postfix already running.

It may bee a good idea to look through the logs
    /var/log/zimbra.log (postfix)
    /opt/zimbra/mailbox.log (formally zimbra.log) everything else
