    Default Zimbra as mail server

Is it an obligation that Zimbra must be the mail server for the domain name it is belonging to ? I mean by that if i install Zimbra for one customer wich email are hosted somewhere else i would like Zimbra not to catch email for that domain when a user send a email in the same domain he belong to.

I hope someone understand what i am saying

    Thanks !
