    okay-
For some reason, the mysql db isn't correct. So, let's just try to repopulate the db

    su - zimbra
    cd /opt/zimbra/libexec
    sh -x ./zmmyinit

When it finishes, can you post the output?

    (Your most welcome, btw )

Anyway, I've done as what you told me, and this is the output, it keeps retrying until 25th times, and it 'gave up'..

    Code:
    # Do not remove the following line, or various programs
    # that require network functionality will fail.

    oops.
    That's wrong. It should be
    Code:
    # Do not remove the following line, or various programs
    # that require network functionality will fail.
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    192.168.0.52 hostname.domain.com hostname
Obviously replace hostname.domain.com with your actual domain.
    Then
    Code:
    su - root
    service network stop
    service network start
    su - zimbra
    cd /opt/zimbra/libexec
    ./zmmyinit
    zmcontrol start
    zmcontrol status
    Post the output

jholder: Thanks...but there's some problem with mysql server

    Output from the ./zmmyinit:-
    Code:
    * Creating required directories
    * Generating mysql config /opt/zimbra/conf/my.cnf
    * Creating database in /opt/zimbra/db/data
    * Starting mysql server
    * Failed to connect to mysql...retrying
    * Failed to connect to mysql...retrying
    * Failed to connect to mysql...retrying
and I cancelled it, and then I run zmcontrol start:-
    Code:
    Host kiingsway.mshome.net
            Starting logger...Done.
            Starting mailbox...Done.
            Starting antispam...Done.
            Starting antivirus...Done.
            Starting snmp...FAILED

            Starting spell...Done.
            Starting mta...Done.
    And zmcontrol status:
    Code:
    Host kiingsway.mshome.net
            antispam Running
            antivirus Running
            ldap Running
            logger Stopped
                    logmysql.server is not running
            mailbox Running
            mta Running
            snmp Running
            spell Running
And this time, I can connect to the admin panel at port 7071, but this error showing up:-
    Code:
    Message: Csfe service error
    Error code: service.FAILURE
    Method: ZmCsfeCommand.invoke
Details:system failure: getting database logger connection
    Thanks in advance ^_^

    k
so things are better. It looks like things are actually beginning to work

Now, let's get the logger working. Now, just as an FYI, you don't really need the logger

    Code:
    su - zimbra
    logmysql.server stop
    rm -rf /opt/zimbra/logger/db/data
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmloggerinit
    logmysql.server start
    zmcontrol start
    Post the output

    All should be working now.

jholder: I encountered some problem when I run
    logmysql.server start:-
    Code:
    A mysqld process already exists
    zmcontrol start:-
    Code:
    Host kiingsway.mshome.net
            Starting logger...Done.
            Starting mailbox...Done.
            Starting antispam...Done.
            Starting antivirus...Done.
            Starting snmp...FAILED

            Starting spell...Done.
            Starting mta...Done.
But when I type zmcontrol status:-
    Code:
    Host kiingsway.mshome.net
            antispam Running
            antivirus Running
            ldap Running
            logger Running
            mailbox Running
            mta Running
            snmp Running
            spell Running
Is this means everything running fine? When I try login to the server console, this error still occur:-
    Code:
    Message: Csfe service error
    Error code: service.FAILURE
    Method: ZmCsfeCommand.invoke
Details:system failure: getting database logger connection
Anyway, thanks in advance ^_^...and sorry for the trouble caused :P

    yeah, I think that's a bug in 4.5.4

I'm kind of hesitant to tell you to upgrade. You are aware that you are running on an unsupported OS, right?

The main thing is: Can you create accounts, and login to them?

    cheers & goodnight!
