Default SOAP Access on port 7070

    Hey everyone,

    Zimbra...fantastic product, you guys rock!

Quick question tho, my server has been up and running now a few weeks and I'm trying to allow my external CRM program to create Calendar events for staff.

I've connected to the Zimbra server on port 7071 for Admin stuff no probs but when I try to get access to the public stuff on port 7070 I get connection refused.

I do a netstat on the server and sure enough nothing is listening on port 7070.

Should there be a secondary daemon listening for SOAP requests on 7070 or can I pump everything I need to create Calendar appointments for staff through port 7071?

    Thanks in advance!

    Ah ok then...

I've checked out the source code and had a look at the Perl SOAP examples that are there and for some reason, non-admin requests are being sent to port 7070.

I figured that there was something special about it but it's most probably just the port they've configured.

    I'll give it a try.

    Thanks!

    I should clairify that.
SOAP runs on what ever your http port is. . .most commonly 80, unless you changed it
