Is there an easy way to "resend" .msg files from /opt/zimbra/store/0/[account_id]/msg/ folders?

Since the only people who truly "lost everything" in our power outtage today were the IMAP people, I would like to re-process their .msg files in an attempt to redeliver the mail that we have.

    Thanks,
    Zach

Also, this is pretty important. Zimbra is currently shipping with a bugged version of MySQL server (even 5.0.41 has this bug). It prevents doing mysqldumps on innodb tables when mysql has the innodb engine in recovery mode.

You can read more about it here:
MySQL Bugs: #28604: innodb_force_recovery restricts data dump

I was able to do database dumps by untargzipping MySQL 5.0.22 into the /opt/zimbra/ directory. I had turned off MySQL. I then recreated the symbolic link to mysql and re-ran the server by hand.

This is possible if you pipe the messages to /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/sendmail.

    Example in /opt/zimbra/store/0/478/0/
    cat 2482-2574.msg | /opt/zimbra/postfix/sbin/sendmail -t -bm -v

I have created a perl script that loops through each directory for a user whose e-mail I need to restore and it requeues the file. Note: distribution lists get re-delivered to everyone, so inspecting the files and skipping ones not specifically To: the inbox you're restoring is a good idea.
