Question Server status data is not available ... logger service must be installed

Sorry about the posting below. I just found the thread from yesterday on the same topic. I'm trying the solution suggested there (cron) and if that doesn't work for me, I'll reply on that thread.

    Regards,

    ----------------------------------------

I have just installed Zimbra 4.4.5 GA on a fresh installation of openSuSe 10.2 server.

Everything is working, except for the following.

When I open the admin web page, the server status shows the following text:

"Server status data is not available. To see the server status, logger service must be installed"

When I do zmcontrol status I get the following:

    zimbra@myhost:~> zmcontrol status
    Host myhost.selfip.org
    antispam Running
    antivirus Running
    ldap Running
    logger Running
    mailbox Running
    mta Running
    snmp Running
    spell Running
    zimbra@myhost:~>

It looks like a configuration problem to me. Can someone tell me what to do please? Or if it's something else?

Thanks for your help. This is great software.

    Regards,
