    Default Error with ZCSDominoMigrationWizard-5.0.0_GA_1862

I'm trying to migrate some accounts from Domino server (5.0.11) to ZCS 5.0.
i download ZCSDominoMigrationWizard-5.0.0_GA_1862.exe from zimbra administrator panel, but when i try to open it at a windows i receive the following message:

    " Could not find c:\Program Files\lotus\notes.
Unable to initialize session with Domino Server. Exiting."

but i'm at a windows 2000 and i have Lotus Notes 6.0, Lotus Domino Administrator 6 and Domino Designer installet at this path (c:\Program Files\lotus\notes).

I already had read the instructions and made all steps, but the program doesn't open.

What i need to do to open this migratition wizard at windows to migrate accounts?

    thanks.

Looks like the file might be corrupt. Try downloading this one:
    http://demo2.zimbra.com/downloads/ZC....1_GA_1900.exe

    Hi,

The Domino Migration Wizard reads the installation directory path from registry ( "c:\Program Files\lotus\notes" in your case ) and looks for file "notes.ini" in that directory. You will get this error when this particular file is not present in the installation directory. To get the tool running, what you can do is, search for the "notes.ini" file on the machine, and copy-paste it in "c:\Program Files\lotus\notes".

Ok, copying the notes.ini to notes share works fine

but now i have another doubt, when i import notes users to ZCS 4.5.4 they imports with no problem.

at this version they answer me for ldap informations. What i need to put here? at old version i didn't have this screen, they connect at my Domino server and search for users automatically.

The older version had some issues with resolving notes address of users to its smtp address if the LDAP server running on machine other than the Domino server's. To handle this, the newer version asks for the LDAP server information separately. You can get the LDAP server information from the Domino Administrator. Most of the time this is same as that of the Domino server.

Following are the steps I follow to get to the server information

    1)Open Domino Administrator
    2)Goto Configuration Tab
    3)Goto Server
    4)Goto All Server Documents
5)Open the server document listed in there
6)Basic Tab gives you general information like name etc of the server.
    7)Then goto Ports Tab
    8)Goto Internet ports
    9)Goto Directory tab

This tab gives you detained port information about LDAP

Read "detained" as "detailed" in previous post.

Is the LDAP task running? Is it only running with SSL? In that case it would be a different port (but you can specify the port in the Domino Admininstrator)
